Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears dull brown sweaters, loose tan pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed ceremonial dagger, just in case. His brown hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His ears are large.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lance grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to share knowledge with the world

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and he has decided he is irredeemable
