History: Theobald hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.
