History: Alexandre was born with his father's beautiful face. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and wants his loneliness to end

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Shepherd. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Charles grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He tends to his Shepherd job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To be a Map Maker again; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has achieved small success as a Servant.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with black lining and desert motifs. His auburn hair is singed and shortened. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is a Sellsword first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gilbert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Sellsword work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sellsword work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and sabotage a competitor
