History: Diggory was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and many drow want him driven away

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Roland embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has never given up on his poetry dream.
