History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. After coming to the age of reason, Rolf took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

He wears his red hair up in a very large beehive style do. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miner. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Miner for the past few years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Assassin hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and his religion dominates his actions
