Description: He wears black robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a scimitar, but if one is not available he will default to his quarterstaff. He carries a battered scimitar and tarnished quarterstaff as well. He has no hair. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His chestnut hair is heavily combed to the left. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.
History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
Motivation: To unite with his brother; and regain custody of his son

Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with grey lining and desert motifs. His golden hair has been sun bleached extensively. His green eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.
History: Alexandre was born the youngest of three triplets. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
Motivation: Money/treasure; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Description: He likes to wear ponchos typically of a light red in addition to tight pants. He carries with him a set of sickles on his belt, each one with a jet on the hilt. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy golden hair. His fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Unemployed kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
