History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Raymond was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Kody embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. Through the years after Kody was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Kody's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Robert is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He is a Slaad in disguise. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His chestnut hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. The war was a terrible time for him, and Conrad does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
