History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Roland alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
