Aldous took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up axe and armor he uses now. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gilbert grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gilbert was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now mingles about in high society.
