Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Roofer. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Roofer.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and further expansion of business

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Engraver who has hired him part-time. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end.

History: Roland was born with his mother's beautiful face. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and retire the richest man in the west
