History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Hugh hails from a village terrorized by drow. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to protect his home

Description: This western man wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His clothes are grease stained in places. His silver hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His eyes are likewise blue. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Alex will drive conversation. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Alex was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and retire the richest man in the west

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
