Personality: Cory speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Cory fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
