Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Alexandre was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to unite with his brother

History: Patrick was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When Roland reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
