History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Kyle reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Born in the east to a Herbalist, Miles learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Diggory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. After a long history of fighting, Diggory and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Hugh hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Healer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Animal Trainer, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.
