Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Bernard isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His first spouse was a Painter, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and many dire rats want him driven away

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and wants to work out more often
