History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Theobald was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Detective arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Detective.
