His hair is long and auburn with streaks of white, and is pulled back with small white clips. His beard is white, braided, and well cared for. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. Gerard enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Gerard was born with his father's beautiful face. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gifted student he started as a Beggar, but he got bored and became a Mercenary. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born in the south to a Courier, Roland learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Gunter speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Gunter lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
