History: Adelard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Ruler. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He got into the Ruler business at a young age. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and further expansion of business

Description: The dark-skinned man stands 5'8" and wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His hair is white and very short. His eyes are blue and catlike.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Frederick was born the youngest of three triplets. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Body Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Description: He wears a black coat over a grey low-cut shirt, and a wide-brimmed hat upon his head. His auburn hair is braided into rings. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: The child of a Sculptor, who enjoyed hunting, Richard was taken on many hunting expeditions. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and he has a crush on the local sculptor

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Marshal responsibilities is difficult; and wants to work out more often
