His mother taught him the rudiments of the Navigator arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. History: Gerald hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He married young, but lost his spouse to goblins. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
