History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. Bernard enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Justin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Justin was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.
