Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: The child of a Bookbinder, who enjoyed hunting, John was taken on many hunting expeditions. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes orcs are coming to abduct people. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gerald grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gerald. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
