Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Miles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Miles was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Miles's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Miles and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He usually wears his tan robe and has his shield always slung over his shoulder. His hair is long and blonde with streaks of auburn, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is auburn, braided, and well cared for. He has several tiny aquamarine earrings on each ear.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Gerard lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Description: He is lean but muscular and is renowned for his bright black suits and hats. His brown hair is smooth and relatively long. His eyes are blue and beady.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Richard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Richard. He's also a talented Sailor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: He is a Laborer first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Dilettante again; and sabotage a competitor

Description: A 5'1" northern man, he wears a blue collared shirt and white pants. He accessorizes with a tan scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt. His black hair is braided into rings. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He works hard and plays hard.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Cory was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.
