History: Shane lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His silver hair is matted, messy, and big. His hazel eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Aldous embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and wants to work out more often

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Tanner they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Laborer, and he later adopted a second son.
