History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. After coming to the age of reason, Bernard took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
