Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying north to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Conrad was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Don has worked very hard to control his curse. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
