Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Conrad enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Through the years after Conrad was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Conrad's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: A middle-aged man, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and yellow, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, and is pretty ugly. His hair is auburn and very short. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His first spouse was a Priest, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. The war was a terrible time for him, and Theobald does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Hunter mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
