Through the years after Gerard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gerard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alexandre grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Engraver. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He became a Engraver soon after.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: The child of a Ruler, who enjoyed hunting, Rolf was taken on many hunting expeditions. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hubert grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hubert. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.
