Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. He has a long auburn beard with little hanging trinkets. This brown eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Hunter was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Hunter decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Description: He is an average looking western male in his early mid-life. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty pastel coat over it. His hair is long and black with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small pastel clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. His hazel eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs, marred by sweets. He keeps his chestnut hair in a flapper bob. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. A gifted student he started as a Mortician, but he got bored and became a Barrister. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: A middle-aged man, he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it, and is pretty ugly. His auburn hair is heavily combed to the left. His hazel eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hubert embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he feels threatened by others
