History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the west. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: Lance was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
