Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. Bernard is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. One day when Bernard was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead. His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Bernard was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sailor they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Laborer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Randal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gifted student he started as a Soapmaker, but he got bored and became a Barber. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Barber responsibilities is difficult.
