Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy silver hair. This hazel eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: He was born in a small plains village. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He is a Bookbinder first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Adelard is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bookbinder responsibilities is difficult; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Description: An older man who wears dull brown sweaters, loose tan pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed ceremonial dagger, just in case, he is not a threatening figure. He wears his blonde hair up. His skin is flawless and his gray eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Gerald is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Scribe they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Actor, and he later adopted a second son.
