History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and an old rival family wants him found

He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Lewis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
