History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Patrick was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town.
