Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gerard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 7 years.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and wants to open a new tavern

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. At some point he was captured by brigands and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and someone believes him a fraud
