History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: Hubert is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Lewis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He works hard and plays hard.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: Gerard is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Being a Servant kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Expand his business; and to be a navigator again
