History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Balimaar was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Balimaar's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Dustin was born with his mother's beautiful face. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Description: This eastern man is abnormally tall. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are a pleasant blue.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of gnolls
