Heartbroken, Charles never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When Theodoric reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Theodoric was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright.
