History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Chad was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has achieved small success as a Hunter.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Bookbinder arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He dropped out of school to support his sick mother, and resented it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and doesn't want to be a bookbinder and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Through the years after Adelard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Adelard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Cory alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and many gnolls want him driven away
