History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Geoffrey was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature mace.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is light but he possesses many grey ritualistic tattoos. History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He's also a talented Dyer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: An older man who is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior, he is not a threatening figure. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born into a rich family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Fortune-teller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and revenge
