History: Conrad was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bricklayer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Aldous grew up listening to his mother's many stories. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Lance was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Barrister responsibilities is difficult; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: With red face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he is dressed in a clean tan cloak covering his clean studded leather. His auburn hair is smooth and relatively long. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Being a Ruler kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and wants to open a new tavern
