Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by his family; and an old rival family wants him found

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Norman alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Norman never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. The war was a terrible time for him, and Simon does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Simon was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Clerebold was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Courier.
