Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears an entirely red suit with white socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His golden hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his violet eyes.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. Heward is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bather. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bather for hire.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He got into the Carter business at a young age. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He tends to his Carter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His golden hair is singed and shortened. His blue eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He married young, but lost his spouse to giants. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He wears silk and lounges about seductively. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He keeps his golden hair in a pixie cut. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.
