History: Norman was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Hugh lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Slave Trader they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Engraver, and he later adopted a second son.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He struck the Shepherd job and began his own company from there.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Miles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
