History: Ernest was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A freak accident while working with his Bather mother left him crippled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Gerard hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his music career. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Bather but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Bather kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
