History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Map Maker mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: Born to a Scribe, his father struggled to pay the bills. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Hunter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and retire the richest man in the west
