He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and doesn't want to be a stableman and was forced into it by his family

He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: He was born in the north. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Apothecary. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Apothecary for the past few years.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Map Maker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Map Maker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
