Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. The war was a terrible time for him, and Roland does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Roland grew up listening to his father's many stories. One day when Roland was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead. His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Roland was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Thomas took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has achieved small success as a Barber.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and his religion dominates his actions

He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
