He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bertram embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He has all his life been fascinated with painting.

History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. His silver hair is heavily combed to the right. He has amber eyes and a yellow hat with a green feather.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: The child of a Fortune-teller, who enjoyed hunting, Diggory was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Geoffrey grew up listening to his father's many stories. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Painter for the past few years.

Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins; and balancing his hectic life and new painter responsibilities is difficult

Description: He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized yellow coat, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'1" when asserting himself. His auburn hair is knotted and matted. His fierce violet eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He tends to his Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he has decided he is irredeemable
