History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. After a long history of fighting, Gunter and his spouse have recently divorced.
