History: He comes from a rich northern family. Henry was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Laborer. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is dressed in earthy colors with a grey and tan handkerchief worn on his right side. He has white hair. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Manfred is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Henry alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
